Equipped with two helicopters, LA DATCHA can provide you with a bird’s eye view of exotic wildlife in their natural habitat, be it pods of dolphins at play, giant swimming sea turtles, or lemurs leaping through the treetops.
A charter aboard LA DATCHA gives you the chance to bliss out on board before exploring these paradisiacal worlds from ashore, the water and above, ensuring you don’t miss a moment.
Seychelles
With over 100 islands and cays to discover, the possibilities for cruising in the Seychelles are endless. The epitome of utopia, here soft white beaches are framed by lush jungle from which misty granite peaks soar, and the infinite translucent waters are perfect for admiring the colourful coral and bountiful marine life.
Kick back at a beach bar in a sleepy fishing village, tour a working tea plantation, or trek to see the fabled coco de mer palm trees, looking out for rare wildlife en route.
Maldives
This collection of almost 1200 islands, hundreds of which are uninhabited, is the place to come for the ultimate castaway experience. Powder white beaches with green-cloaked island interiors are kissed by aquamarine waters and you need not see another soul if you don’t want, at least not a human one.
The lagoon waters that fringe the islands and reefs are teeming with life, from vibrant fish to rays, turtles and whale sharks, making it perfect diving territory. And, if you like the finer things in life, then why not stop off for a spa treatment at one of the exclusive island resorts, such as Reethi Beach Resort, on a tiny island in Baa Atoll, where you can enjoy a traditional Maldivian welcome.
Madagascar
This island nation, 400km off Africa’s coast, is renowned for its diversity. Here, many species of flora, fauna and wildlife exist that are unique to Madagascar, with five per cent of the world’s animal and plant life found here, including more than half the world’s chameleons.
Comprising its namesake island plus a string of smaller islands, it’s a place where you can come face to face with numerous species of lemur and experience the extremities of desert and rainforest in one day.
It’s also immense and its remarkable topography and myriad life forms have led many to label it the ‘Eighth Continent’. It’s certainly like nowhere you have ever been before or will ever go again.
