Leander G, now for sale with Edmiston
An English country home on water, the modern-classic Leander G is one of the original ‘super’ yachts, fostering a reputation as one of the greatest yachts of the 20th century.
Designed by Claus Kusch and built at Peene-Werft, LEANDER G was one of the largest and most impressive yachts in the world when launched. With a maintenance programme that has seen over €25million invested in her upkeep under her current ownership, she remains in pristine condition to this day.
Both the 25 year and intermediary Lloyd’s surveys were completed in 2019, along with a complete overhaul of the main engines. While considerable upgrades to guest, crew and mechanical systems and a full repaint were carried out in 2018.
The traditional interior, designed by Pauline Nunns, offers endless space for entertaining, from the piano lounge and observation terrace, to the pool deck bar and magnificent dining salon.
When privately used, LEANDER G can welcome up to 20 guests across 10 comfortable cabins, including two owner suites with adjoining office and lounge areas.
