Safe charter holidays are on the horizon
On an Edmiston charter you can be assured of a safe environment in which to spend quality time with your loved ones
Though it may not have been the charter season any of us were expecting, with some ports starting to open up in Europe and beyond, we may be set to enjoy some summer cruising after all.
If you’re looking forward to reuniting with friends and family, then what could be better than planning a get-together this summer under blue skies and unbroken sunshine? Think dropping anchor in a secluded bay or chilling out on the sun deck with your nearest and dearest there in person and not just on the end of a Zoom call.
And while ports are tentatively starting to reopen, it may be time to plan a charter to somewhere you’ve not previously considered, such as Scandinavia, where many ports are now open, though restrictions are in place.
If you really must Med, then perhaps consider Montenegro, which is currently open to yachts, while neighbouring Croatia looks likely to follow, with its waters presently open to yachts and some provisioning possible.
Spain is expected to ease lockdown measures at its ports by mid-June and Italy may not be far behind, while for something more exotic, the Seychelles is planning to open to yachts from 1 June and some Caribbean isles are already allowing yachts to stop to fuel.
For those who are reluctant to leave their homes, a charter is one of the safest ways to holiday, with exceptional levels of hygiene throughout and the ability to check everything and everyone coming on and off the yacht.
Ahead of your trip you can rest assured that the yacht cleaning protocols will be given increased attention-to-detail, and this level of cleanliness will be maintained for your whole holiday. Our crew will be following best practice hygiene regimes, including regular handwashing, and maintaining social distance where possible. Additionally, temperatures of each crew member will be monitored daily to give you peace of mind. Between charters all areas and surfaces will receive increased attention-to-detail and everything coming onto the yacht will be treated with special care, including guest luggage and provisions to ensure you are welcomed in the safest possible way.
At Edmiston, the wellbeing of you and your guests has always been our main concern. Our crews are committed to raising our rigorous standards even higher to guarantee that all guests feel protected on your future charter and you can holiday with confidence.
We are looking forward to welcoming you on board soon.
