The 2017 106m Lürssen AMADEA is offered for sale and is a yacht that presents a new approach to outdoor living on board, with design elements that are both eye-catching and highly functional across its six decks. 

With exterior design by the inimitable Espen Øino, AMADEA is an architecturally magnificent yacht. The clamshell arrangement of the overhanging decks (best seen from above) create a unique aesthetic, and the albatross stem is a reminder that with a range of 8,000nm, nowhere is out of bounds for this yacht.

The legendary François Zuretti is behind the beautiful interiors. A lesson in expert craftmanship, with hand-finished inlays and carved woodwork complementing the 18th-century furnishings, there is a regal yet inviting feel.

The 250 sqm main salon, with its parquet flooring, fireplace and piano, is reminiscent of a stately home, while the side terrace gives it a modern edge. Guests can grab a drink at the spectacular bar or enjoy ocean-view dining from a grand table forward.

Other interior spaces include the winter garden on the sundeck, which provides an outstanding dining space, and the large cinema, with sofas equipped with a D-box system that makes film-adapted movements, so guests are immersed in the action. 

AMADEA can accommodate 16 guests across eight suites and cabins in the utmost luxury. The Owner’s deck, dressed very much as a country-house residence, is a real standout feature.

The Owner can invite guests to smaller gatherings in the private salon, which has an atrium overlooking the main salon below, or the outdoor dining space. Well-placed, the helipad on the foredeck connects to these private rooms, so the Owner can fly in or out at their discretion.

There is also a VIP suite, a further five double cabins and a twin. PYC compliant, AMADEA also allows for up to 22 guests when cruising.

Outside, there are many areas that invite guests to relax and socialise, from the 10-metre mosaic pool on the main deck aft with stools at one end for cocktail hour, to huge daybeds by the large Jacuzzi on the sundeck.

Come night-time, this Jacuzzi can easily be turned into a band stage or dance floor, with an incredible sound set-up, plus lasers and light shows for a real exclusive club atmosphere.

Up on the bridge deck, there are wide side decks and a terrace aft with firepit, which is ideal for those who want a little chill-out time, and which can also easily convert to an outside cinema.

On the lower deck, there is a large swim platform that creates another area for sunbathing and chilling, with access to the Moroccan-style spa, Finnish sauna and a terrace onto the sea.

A large side platform provides a boarding area for guests arriving or departing by either the Limo tender or the open powerboat.

All-in-all AMADEA shows just what can happen when elegance, luxury, comfort and modern technology combines.
