O'Ptasia Yacht Charter

The 85m O’PTASIA, the largest yacht yet to come out of the Golden Yachts yard, only launched in 2018 yet is already proving popular on the charter market.

Perhaps it should come as little surprise since designer Giorgio Vafiadis of Studio Vafiadis has bestowed on her exterior his signature fluid profile of smooth lines and gentle curves, while inside a mix of dark woods, pale furnishings and very little clutter – with just the odd hint of Pop Art – create a relaxing and warm environment.

O’PTASIA can accommodate up to 12 guests in 11 cabins, including a 95 sq m Owner’s suite, a VIP cabin, six doubles, two twins and one convertible cabin. Most cabins have en-suites and some even have bathrooms made of the same marble used to build the Parthenon in Athens.

The social areas, both inside and out, flow well into each other and there’s plenty of space to unwind, whether you want to sunbathe in one of the many deck spaces, catch up with friends in the main salon or retire to the more intimate upper deck salon for a chilled evening of films and games.

Highlights include a decent-sized pool on the sundeck, a touch-and-go helipad to take the stress out of arriving and departing, a fully-equipped gym with outstanding views, and a cinema room.

However, O’PTASIA really stands out for her exceptional beach club, which comes with a curved bar, a hammam, massage area and sauna, plus room for a couple of daybeds so you can catch some rays in peace before simply siding into the sea when you need to cool down.
