Start the show season with the Cannes Yachting Festival

Since 1977, the Cannes Yachting Festival has taken place every September in the elegant and luxurious surroundings of the sparkling bay of Cannes. With more than 600 new and used yachts on display, from 5 to 55 metres, Cannes Yachting Festival is without a doubt, Europe’s leading sub 60 metre in-water boating event.

This year, the bay of Cannes will welcome all the major players in the yachting industry, from brokerage companies, shipyards and designers to toy manufacturers and luxury crafts to accommodate the 50,000 plus visitors who walk through the gates. 

The show layout will remain mostly the same for 2019, with second-hand yachts for sale and charter lining the docks of Port Canto, whilst new yacht models and tenders will be exhibited by shipyards and designers in Vieux Port, one of the oldest harbours in the French Riviera. 

A new addition to the show is the sailing yacht area, which will see over 100 sailing boats present at the Cannes Yachting Festival.  Sailing yachts that have always been present at the Yachting Festival but will now have more exhibition space to satisfy the demands of shipyards -  both on land and in-water, ensuring incomparable visibility. According to Sylvie Ernoult, Director of the Yachting Festival, the in-water sailing presence will be increased by almost 30%, whilst the motor yacht attendance will see a rise of 10%.
