This has been a unique year, and one of the few positives is that we are now free to work from anywhere in the world, so why limit yourself to your land-based home when you can work remotely and holiday at the same time?

And, if schools close again, there’s nothing to say you can’t home school your children while schooling them in the wider world as you travel by yacht. Swimming lessons were never this much fun at school.

The impeccably restored 50m Camper and Nicholsons yacht MALAHNE has an Art Deco-style office, fit for a statesman, with lots of varnished wood and a pair of sofas.  Her period interiors once hosted the great and good of Hollywood, including Elizabeth Taylor and Frank Sinatra, and the old-world sophistication permeates.

Aboard the 59.1m 2001 Oceano yacht HELIOS, the full-beam Master suite comes with a study and heated marble floors for an added touch of glamour, plus there is an open gym for lunchtime work outs.

The full-beam Owner’s suite now comes with a private study where wood panels and a sturdy desk provide a professional place to work. Once you’ve downed tools, head up to the sun deck for a dip in one of two Jacuzzis.

Meanwhile, SUNRAYS, the striking blue-hulled 85.5m 2010 Oceanco yacht, last refitted in 2018, has a large study in the Owner’s suite, with double doors leading out to private terrace and oodles of space for friends and family elsewhere on board. The 52m 1995 Benetti yacht TOMMY has remarkably been with the same Owner from launch. Thanks to a 2016 refit she is in excellent condition. TOMMY’s timeless interiors featuring wooden floors and a mix of wood and creamy fabric panels provide a calm atmosphere in the Owner’s office. TOMMY also has a helipad, which is very useful if anyone needs to fly in or out for business.
