If you are looking to charter a yacht that can accommodate a large group of friends and family, that marries traditional design with exceptional facilities, then the 72m 1980 Clelands Shipping Co-built motor yacht BLEU DE NÎMES could be the charter yacht for you.
Having completed a four-year rebuild in 2020, BLEU DE NÎMES has finally realised a 20-year ambition to transform from a British Navy Degaussing ship to a long-range cruiser, offering every luxury you would expect of a yacht of this class.
As part of her rebuild, BLEU DE NÎMES yacht extended with a new section added midship but her classic lines and overall ocean-liner style has not been lost, and Pier Vittorio Cerruti, the original interior designer, was brought back to ensure the new interiors were in keeping with the yacht’s aesthetic, meaning an elegant yacht with timeless appeal awaits you and your charter guests.
A BLEU DE NÎMES yacht charter can accommodate an impressive 28 guests across 13 cabins, including a full-beam Master suite on the upper deck forward with an emperor-size bed, his and her bathrooms and his and her walk-in closets. The rest of the guest accommodation comprises two VIP cabins on the main deck, and six double cabins, two triple cabins and two twin cabins on the lower deck. There is also room for 23 crew on board, ensuring first-class service for you and your guests throughout your charter holiday.
Inside, the wooden panels and wooden floors, accentuated with cream furnishings, give a calming colonial-style feel and guests will love the sauna, massage room and gym on the bridge deck.
There is a shaded lounge and dining area on the large main deck aft, while the large sun deck includes two large Jacuzzis side-by-side, so no one need miss out, a bar and plenty of sun loungers.
On a BLEU DE NÎMES yacht charter, you can make use of no fewer than four tenders – two of which can be accessed from the fold-down sea terrace on the port side hull.
To access the other tenders, plus the extensive list of water toys – including SeaDoos, canoes, a stand-up paddleboard and diving equipment – there is the swim platform, large enough to accommodate a couple of sun loungers for that real on-the-water sense of serenity.
